Love Unplugged MinistriesThe mission of Love Unplugged Ministries’ is to love God, love people, and make a positive difference.
Founded in November 2019 by Jovan Agee with a vision to empower people spiritually, economically, and socially by spreading the knowledge and spirit of God through conventional and unconventional methods. LUM creates experiences that churched, and unchurched people desire to attend and grow from.
Rooted in 1 Corinthians 16:14 (KJV) which says, “Let all that you do be done in love”, LUM believes the greatest positive impact that could be made to make the world a better place is to simply teach and spread love. Love that is untethered (unplugged) and unconditional, meaning that it is being given freely and with nothing owed.
What We Believe
Government is limited in its ability to solve the problems in our neighborhoods. Politics and business-as-usual is tearing our communities further and further apart. Democrats vs. Republicans, Whites vs. Blacks, Men vs. Women, Rich vs. Poor, etc. The truth is our communities and society as a whole cannot stand if it is divided amongst itself.
People must be empowered to change mindsets and take actions that position them to make the changes they desire in their communities.
Inspire
Ezra 10:4 – “Rise up; this matter is in your hands. We will support you, so take courage and do it.” We will actively help you seek sources of inspiration in the world around you and help you draw upon the reserves of inspiration that exist within you. It is possible to breathe joy back into your life and start working towards your dreams.
Empower
Acts 8:30-31 – So Philip ran up and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. “How can I,” he said, “unless someone guides me?” For people to live a more abundant life they must be taught. We provide teachings that will empower you to achieve the success you desire.
Activate
James 2:17 – A faith that does not do anything is dead. Once you have been inspired and empowered to succeed, now it is time to activate your dreams. You will have the clarity of direction to tackle the desires of your heart. Jesus lived so that we could have a more abundant life. We want to help make your abundant life a reality.
